It is possible
to take four HL subjects, though this is usually only during the first
year when you may be uncertain of your strengths and interests. You can
also, under exceptional circumstances to take a seventh subject or take
an extra science instead of a Group 3 subject. If you are considering
either of these please discuss it with the Director of Studies.
You must
choose at least one subject from each of the first five groups below.
Your sixth subject may be Visual Arts, Theatre Arts, or a second subject
from one of the other groups. In addition you must take Theory of Knowledge,
write an Extended Essay and complete the Quan Cai requirements.
