Admissions > Scholarships

It is anticipated that the following scholarships will be offered:

Li Po Chun United World College (Hong Kong) 50 scholarships approx.

This includes scholarships funded by the Lord Wilson UWC Scholarship Fund, and the College’s own Endowment Funds, set up with the generous support of the Li Po Chun Charitable Trust Fund and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Scholarship support is provided according to need on a means tested basis.

Overseas United World Colleges 10 scholarships approx.

1. United World College of the Atlantic (UK)
2. Armand Hammer UWC of the American West (USA)
3. Lester B Pearson UWC of the Pacific (Canada)
4. United World College of the Adriatic (Italy)
5. Red Cross Nordic United World College (Norway)
6. Mahindra United World College (India)
7. UWC in Mostar (Bosnia-Herzegovnia)
8. UWC Costa Rica (Costa Rica)
9. UWC Maastricht (Netherlands)

This includes scholarships funded by the Li Po Chun Charitable Trust Fund and the Sir Jack Cater Scholarship Trust Fund. Scholarship support is provided according to need on a means tested basis.

The number of scholarships and destination colleges is subject to change and to confirmation by the scholarship donors.

Please note that in applying for a scholarship, students are applying to the UWC Movement, not an individual college, and the Selection Committee reserves the right to offer a place in the College of its choosing according to availability, preference and need.

Although most scholarships will be awarded to students who are completing 5th form (Year 11), a limited number of scholarships will be awarded to outstanding students who are completing 4th form (Year 10) for entry to Li Po Chun UWC only.
