On 5th October there will be two presentations,
one at 10:00am, repeated at 11:30am; On 29th November there will be two presentations,
one at 10:00am, repeated at 11:30am.
Deadline for application: 16 December 2008;
All applicants will be notified whether or not they have
been shortlisted no later than 24th January 2009;
Shortlisted students will be invited to attend a Day Camp
entitled “Challenge Day” at Li Po Chun United
World College of Hong Kong on Sunday 8 February 2009;
Interviews: March and April 2009;
Conditional offers to students:
- for overseas UWCs - early May 2009
- for LPCUWC - mid June 2009;
Students on the reserve list may be called for a second round
of interviews in July or August 2009;
All offers of scholarship to students completing 5th form (Year
11) are CONDITIONAL upon obtaining HKCEE 22 points (with Level
5 in English) or IGCSE/GCSE 3As + 3Bs (including English) or MYP
45 points. In the event of a large number of applicants, performance
in Chinese will also be taken into account. Students applying
for entry upon completion of 4th form (Year 10) will be required
to demonstrate their suitability to undertake IB studies in a
boarding environment.
