Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong

Founded in 1992, the College is situated in one of Asia's most dynamic cities. The campus overlooks the beautiful Tolo Harbour. With ready access to the rest of China the students are offered exciting and widely contrasting experiences. With over 50% of the students from Asian countries, the College is a unique expression of the combined influences of the East and West.

United World College of the Atlantic
The UWC of the Atlantic, on the South Wales Coast of the UK, was the founding College of the UWC. With 300 students it offers a wide range of subjects and is noted for its emergency sea rescue services which are part of the national rescue network. Community social services are also integral to the programme. The College has a farm and Community Arts Centre.

United World College of South East Asia
Established in 1971, UWCSEA has 2,832 students from 63 nationalities and educates students from Kindergarten 1 to grade 12 (ages 4 to 18). The three schools within UWCSEA are the Primary School (K1 to grade 5), Middle School (grades 6 to 8) and High School (grades 9 to 12). A two-year IGCSE course is offered in grades 9 and 10 and the IB Diploma is offered in grades 11 and 12. It is one of the world’s largest International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma schools and for 25 years has achieved superb exam results. There are 265 full- and part- time teachers from 25 nationalities.

Lester B. Pearson United World College of the Pacific
The UWC of the Pacific, founded in 1974, is situated in a beautiful bay in British Columbia. With 200 students, Pearson College is strongly committed to community service and environmental protection. Its high academic standards complement the lively village atmosphere which characterizes the College.

Waterford-KaMhlaba United World College of Southern Africa
Waterford KaMhlaba school was founded in 1963 to pioneer non-racial education in Southern Africa. Many leading opponents of apartheid, including Nelson Mandela (former President of the UWC International Council) and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, sent their children there. The school joined UWC in 1981.

The UWC of the Adriatic, founded in 1982, is situated in the village of Duino. The College has close links with Central and Eastern Europe and encourages its students to take an active interest in Italian culture. As at other Colleges, service to the community is central.

Armand Hammer United World College of the American West
Located in the beautiful American South West, the College offers its 200 students the opportunity to interact with the 3 cultures present in the region - Hispanic, native American and Anglo. Extensive social service programmes expose students to the values of voluntary service in an economically deprived region. All students are taught basic wilderness skills.

Simon Bolivar United World College of Agriculture
The SBUWC is a unique approach to the UWC goals. Located in the far west of Venezuela, it offers a three-year program in Farm Management, which leads to a Higher Diploma at a technical university level. This academic program is taught in two ways: through practical "Hands On" group learning experiences called Practical Modules, and also known as "Cuadrillas", and through Theoretical Modules. Note that the language of instruction at SBUWC is Spanish.

Red Cross Nordic United World College
The Nordic UWC is located in the mountainous regions of Sogn og Fjordane is Western Norway, on the beautiful shores of Flekke Fjord. The College lies alongside the Red Cross Centre for Rehabilitation and Training in Haughland. The Nordic College places a special emphasis on environmental and humanitarian concerns with a campus that has been developed to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

Mahindra United World College of India
UWC ambitions to found a College in the subcontinent date back to 1971. The founding generation of 100 scholarship students entered the College in September 1997, 25 from India, 25 from neighbouring developing countries, the others from industrialised nations. The Mahindra UWC of India reflects Indian traditions with its buildings and lifestyle. Its social service programme is dedicated to the nearby rural communities.
