Our second-year students, who arrived a week earlier than our first-year students, put together a fantastic programme last night. It was their way of welcoming our first-year students who have all checked into their respective residential blocks on campus over the weekend.

Cheers filled the Assembly Hall as the stage came alive with performances. Second-year students showcased some of the signature Quan Cai activities that students at Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong (LPCUWC) can choose from and be active in -- from the dragon and lion dances to Chinese drumming.

LPCUWC Principal Arnett Edwards, who was present along with the other teachers, formally welcomed the first-years. He spoke about the UWC mission and values, the transformative UWC experience that awaits students on campus, and the rich cultural diversity that binds students and staff together.
