Association of Spanish Speaking WomenLi Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong Principal Arnett Edwards welcomed some members of the Asociación de Mujeres de Habla Hispana (Association of Spanish-Speaking Women) in Hong Kong to the College House during their visit to the campus this month. 

The visit was intended to reinforce the Asociación's ties with the College and meet with current students from Spanish-speaking countries. A diverse and vibrant residential community, the student body in the College is composed of nationalities from 80 countries. 

Established in 1977 in Hong Kong, the Asociación aims to help all Spanish-speaking women and their families to bond, celebrate their cultures and traditions together, and find a community away from their home countries in Hong Kong.

On its recent visit, it invited again Spanish-speaking students from the College to its regular gatherings, especially during the winter break and holidays. 

Together with Arnett from the College was Kalpana Balan-Seitz, Acting Universities Guidance Counselor and teacher of Theory of Knowledge and Global Politics.
