It was busy week leading to the Caribbean and Latin American Cultural Evening, which took place on 7 December, with spurts of exciting activities happening at the Courtyard during breaks.

Everything culminated to a parade of vibrant colours, festive performances and a display of rich traditions of the region that was under the spotlight that day.

Cultural evenings are highlights of the year and the epitome of the College’s celebration of diversity. The aim is to promote international understanding and appreciation.

There are five cultural evenings each year focusing on different regions: Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and South Asia, North America and South America on a two-year rotation, and China annually.
