A prelude to the classes today, our students came in different attires representative of their home countries during the International Cultural Evening (ICE) last weekend.

It was a colourful evening at the Canteen as students enjoyed a light moment with each other over a spread of international dishes. Performances showcasing different regional cultures by second-year students followed at the Assembly Hall later that evening.

Cultural evenings are highlights of the year and the epitome of the College’s celebration of diversity. The aim is to promote international understanding and appreciation.

There are five cultural evenings each year, starting with ICE. Students experience cultures around the world with the four cultural evenings that follow, each focusing on a different region - Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East & South Asia, North America and South America on a two-year rotation and China annually.
