Today marks the 33rd Anniversary since the opening of Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong, as the 8th UWC School in the world.
The opening was officiated on 6 November 1992 by then Prince of Wales of the United Kingdom, in the presence of esteemed dignitaries. Since then, we have furthered the mission of the UWC movement, challenging and inspiring nearly 4000 students who have walked through our gates.
Today, Li Po Chun United World College continues to provide a deliberately diverse learning environment for students from various backgrounds to learn, grow, and bring positive impact together. Currently 94 nationalities are represented within our student body. We are grateful to be able to continue our mission alongside our ever-growing community of alumni, staff and family who continue to offer support in various capacities.
We are proud to be part of the UWC movement as we continue to educate for peace and a sustainable future.
Happy 33rd Anniversary to us!
