It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr Y.T. Li, CBE JP, former Director of the Education Department (1987-1992) and Chairman of the Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong Board of Governors (2000-2007).
Dr. Li passed away on September 17, 2024. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
Dr. Li's contributions to education at LPCUWC and throughout Hong Kong will always be remembered and cherished. His impactful leadership at LPCUWC played a significant role in shaping its esteemed 33-year legacy.
He will be greatly missed.
