LPC Voices for Peace: UWC Day 2025

ree

Cupcakes, drums, poems, and songs— these were just a few of the many Voices for Peace that filled our campus at UWC Day 2025.

From baking acts of appreciation  to drumming in unison , from profound dialogues with holographic Holocaust survivors to creating art and poetry, our community explored peace through every medium.

We were also honoured to host incredible voices, including alumna artist Maoshan Connie, who guided students in illustrating their personal peace maps , and Sajida Jan (UWC Costa Rica ’20), who shared her journey founding the Cycle Care Campaign for menstrual equity.

The day ended on a high note, with the entire school gathered in the courtyard to sing "World of Peace" in one united voice —a powerful reminder of the change we can build together. Thank you to everyone who made this day resonate with meaning and hope.
