We are delighted to share that our collaboration with WWF Hong Kong has been featured in their "About Life" publication. This partnership is part of WWF's flagship "One Planet Schools" (OPS) programme, which resonates deeply with our UWC mission to promote "peace and sustainability" by offering students immersive, real-world conservation experiences.

In the featured interview, our IBDP Environmental Systems and Societies teacher, Ms Janice Chin, discussed the impact of our annual "Conservation in Action and Technology" project week. Students participated in meaningful fieldwork—from habitat restoration at Mai Po Nature Reserve and coral monitoring in Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park to coastal clean-ups. These hands-on activities equipped them with practical skills and fostered a deeper connection to local ecosystems, empowering them to move from awareness to active engagement and strengthening their commitment to sustainability.
Looking ahead, we are excited to expand on sustainable development and urban planning across disciplines in our environmental education curriculum. We also look forward to continuing our collaboration with WWF on future initiatives, including exploring conservation programmes related to the San Tin Technopole development.
Together, we are nurturing critical thinkers and dedicated leaders who will advocate for a sustainable future.
