UWC Day 2026 Celebrations at LPC

Our LPC community came together to turn "Action for Peace, Planet, People" into real, meaningful practice across Hong Kong on 21 September.
On campus, students examined the trade-offs between global development and sustainability at the second Global Issues Forum. Meanwhile, during dynamic peacebuilding workshops in Space, Strategy & Peace, classrooms transformed into interactive design hubs where students drew on walls to build ideal cities , adapting their strategies in real time and putting practical conflict-resolution skills to the test.
In the courtyard, students integrated citizen science with creative expression at the Stroll, Sight, Create! session. They explored our lush campus for inspiration and worked in colour-themed teams to craft a large-scale collaborative artwork that will soon be displayed on campus!
Out in nature , experiential learning, mindful conversations, and connection extended directly into our surrounding environment along the Pak Tam Pathway to Peace hike. Environmental action was everywhere—from clearing marine litter during the Wu Kai Sha Coastal Cleanup to surveying local mangroves at the Starfish Bay Bio Blitz session.
To cap off the day, everyone reconnected to reflect on the day’s experiences, with each team snapping a selfie to mark the moment!
