Congratulations to our 11 talented students who represented LPCUWC at the 8th Hong Kong Linguistics Olympiad (HKLO) at PolyU!
The team went head-to-head with 105 contestants from 30 schools, tackling complex logic puzzles featuring languages such as Shanghainese, Guaraní, and Maltese.
Special shoutouts go to Vasil for winning the Bronze Award! Vasil has qualified for the Asia Pacific Linguistics Olympiad, which takes place this Sunday, 29 March. We are also proud of Patricia, who received an Honourable Mention for her impressive performance.
Our heartfelt thank you to Ms. Cherry Cheng, English teacher, for leading and guiding the group all the way through.
Well done to the entire team for their hard work and curiosity: Fio, Frederike, Murphy, Antonia, Wilfried, Raina, Jilian, Andia, Vasil, Patricia, and Juni. (Pictured: 8 of our 11 participants)
Join us in celebrating their outstanding performance.
