From how imagination shapes knowledge to whether bias is inevitable, and how history influences what we know today, the first week of classes at LPCUWC has been buzzing with ideas and exploration.
Held on 4-5 September 2025, this year’s Theory of Knowledge (TOK) exhibition featured 126 unique exhibits, where our Year 2 students explored connections between knowledge, culture, and identity through thoughtfully chosen objects. Each exhibit reflected their curiosity, passions, and emotions, creating a true banquet for thinkers and knowers.
For the first time, the exhibition adopted a custom digital format designed to highlight the objects and ideas selected by students . Dr. Cherrie Cheung, Teacher of Chinese and TOK, Curriculum Development Coordinator and TOK Team Leader, explained, “The purpose of the design is to make students’ thinking and identities visible. This format also celebrates the cultural diversity on our campus, representing over 60 nationalities, perspectives, and explorations— yet united as one community.”
The exhibits were organised by residential blocks, encouraging students to invite their residential tutors to join them on this inspiring journey of discovery and dialogue.
As Mr. Beta Chau, Director of Studies, concluded, “This year is our best exhibition ever!”
We are incredibly proud of the creativity and insight displayed by our students in this year’s TOK exhibition.
